Exactly. This is not something that anyone should be walking away from thinking Lomachenko doesn't have extreme potential. There's a reason fighters don't win titles early on.

Loma looks very average, I saw it in the first 3 rounds. I don't know how we won gold twice and how he beat 396 fighters. He looks very average and stiff.
He wasnt ready for this. If you watch hisAm fights it wont take you long to see how he did so well

HBO bias reached an entire different level tonight. All they talked about was Salido's weight. If Lomachenko missed a punch, they practically blamed it on Salido's weight:

"Salido connects with a right hand, because he came in overweight"

So much potential, but he is no phenom as a pro. The pro's are a different beast and you have to get some rounds in to know yourself as a professional. He looked so jittery tonight.

yea but they need to get him more accustomed to the pro style and build him up similar to other fighters maybe not quite as slow though

Ok, maybe for the most part.

There are a few exceptions out there. See sig. Ask Nonito if proof is needed.

He just looked like a talented amateur fighter that was out of his depths. Now that this is out the way, they can bring him up correctly.
