Andy Lee only lost two times, unlike Golovkin's other opponents, and it was to good fighters, unlike Golovkin's other opponents, and he actually got a decent win, unlike Golovkin's other opponents.

Well... Froch owned Groves in sparring before their match and Golovkin looked out-of-prime against Adama.

There's not much difference between 2 losses and 3.

Sparring? Cool story, bro. Andy Lee sucks. Fight would be a huge mismatch.

I think Golovkin would beat Lee too, I just don't think Golovkin wants to fight him, he seems to prefer weaker opposition.

Why is it that everybody who creates a Golovkin thread has a recent account and 50 posts?

Anyway i really hope its not Lee, he sucks, especially against good punchers

To be fair, Lee is a good deal better than the guys Golvokin now now likes to tee-up for a bit of paid winter sparring (with a nice tax break throw in as well) in Monaco.

But as much as I like Andy, he's really not living with that kind of power, speed and intensity even if the fight is at Croke Park in Dublin or in Boston. Golvokin is an exceptional, possibly era-defing MW champion, whilst Andy is just a useful contender.

Golvokin wants Martinez...he's said it loud and clear and many, many times...and Andy is not on the radar.
