Olympic gold medallist Anthony Joshua's seamless transition to the professional ranks continued on Saturday as he knocked out Dorian Darch in the second round in Cardiff.

The heavyweight was making his fourth professional outing and extended his 100 percent record as he put his Welsh opponent down. Out of 24 rounds he could have boxed since joining the paid ranks, the 24-year-old has been in the ring for just seven of them.

I'd like to see him throw a few more combinations, looks a bit one dimensional but I suppose doesn't matter given the level of opposition so far.

The bronze bomber hasn't gone much above The opposition of Joshua's level in 30 odd fights, let him fight someone credible before ruling how good he is

He looks a lot better than Wilder did at the same stage. I'll just leave it at that.

It's apparent that he's ready for Southern Area Champion Ian Lewison. I'd like to see him in the next H/W prizefighter series as well.

Whats funny is Joshua has been a pro for a few months and has already fought the same level of competition as Wilder... lol.

Good route to take before stepping up for Commonwealth/British honours.

Joshua never even put a glove on till around the time of the Beijing Olympics when he was 18 years old, so to arrive at London 2012 and take gold was real fast tracked achievement. Still has much to learn and work on but the good thing is he knows it. Potential is huge.

A couple of fights abroad would do him no harm. The experience & exposure would do him the World of good.
