Kirkland ain't nothing but an action fighter with a big name that HBO wants to feed to GGG to make him look sensational against an opponent that has name value.

They want Kirkland hoping to get cheap purses for big ratings. If what you're saying his true I hope Kirkland holds out until they offer him a massive payday for a possibly career ending beat down.

You actually don't like GGG or watching him fight?

If you get annoyed by the excessive hype is one thing (and I can sorta sympathise), but it's hard for me to understand a boxing fan who doesn't find his fights entertaining.

If you consider Kirkland a bum (a distasteful term for any guy who's willing to step in the ring IMO) tho your standards are high indeed.

FWIW Kirkland is probably best seen as a MW who happened to have his 2 biggest fights at JMW - with Wolfe his engine is fantastic and will carry him far - but not against someone who can box the snot outta him - Kirkland would beat a lot of guys at both 154 and 160 but doesn't have the technique for the best in either division IMO.
