That is what being a fan is all about!

Why am i one of the few too that think Cotto may pull this off?
Have yall seen Sergio these past years , hes not the same guy that put paul williams lights out! Those knee injuries are forever, i had a torn acl and know.
Seen pics with his elbow ****** up dudes almost 40..but in boxing years Cottos 40 as well lmao
If Cotto can take Martinez's punch at 160 i got him WAR COTTO!

He has a chance, as you said it depends if he can take Sergio's shots.
I've never been completely sold on Sergio. I hope the plan is to get inside and not let him shoot his left. If you take that away he really doesn't have much else.
At this time I would say both guys have the same hand and foot speed. So I don't see Sergio having that usual advantage against Cotto.
Should be a great fight. I'm not sleeping on Cotto, he can pull this off.

really it depends on how cotto carries the weight to middleweight, its not a good look bc he never really looked good at jmw... doesnt mean he lost his skills or whatever,, just means weight classes are here for a reason. i truly believe he shouldve stayed at welterweight

if we were in fantasy land, and cotto n sergio were both the same size.. at this pt i think sergio is more challenged then cotto w/ his injuries and is older.. cotto would ko him. but maravilla has been fighting much bigger men with bigger punches, hes a full fledged MW now. i dont like the whole "blown up 154 lber" no, hes been the real champ at mw for years

Yeah he does. He has a great right hook and an awesome jab. If he pumps the jab, he is going to eat Cotto alive.

He uses the jab to setup his left, and keep distance.
If Cotto can get inside and take away that left, I really think we'll get a good scrap.

Unlikely it does. This is a guy who was hurt by Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Trout.

He beat that dude Dzinzuruk with primarily the jab. I think it will definitely be a good fight either way but Sergio has a few tricks up his sleeve if he has to use them. As long as Cotto gets in a few solid lowblows, he should do OK.....
