He's not so good anymore, man. The guy is gonna be 40 in February, and he's had a couple of knee surgeries. This isn't a game these men play for the amusement of the fans. These athletes want to make their money and retire while maintaining a reasonable lifestyle. If the fights they make happen to add to their legacy, fine. But the main goal is to make some bank before they're too old and decrepit to compete anymore.

People get paid to produce a product or provide a service. If they fail to deliver, they either get fired or go out of business. The market decides their fate.

The service fighters provide is entertainment. We, the fans, decide whether they stay in business or not. All entertainers operate under this simple concept.

I've never understood why some fans insist on supporting fights that don't meet expectations. Would you continue to frequent a restaurant that burns your meals, or serves you cold food? As long as people do, the business sees no reason to change.
