I like how Sergio talks down on Cotto's resume when his isn't as good as Cotto's.

I was thinking the same thing. Cotto could have came back and said "what A-side fighters have YOU beaten?" He could have thrown a jab in about the Martin Murray fight, he could of talked about Sergio's soft schedule over the past couple of years. He had plenty of ammunition but he's just not a **** talker.

Ima quote what maravilla had said to a Spanish reporter as he walked back to the dressing room... Sergio hasn't sparred much since he's been with Sargiomento as his trainer.

During the 24/7 jcc show martinez and camp mentioned that they don't do a whole lot of sparring anyway

what's funny is that sergio is only taking this fight for the money. so why complain so much about where your name is on the poster? he admitted none of this has anything to do with the result of the fight. you got the fight you wanted. if cotto would have picked canelo, martinez would be stuck fighting marco antonio rubio.

and if sergio is so worried about what this means to the history of the sport, then why don't you fight the guy you're supposed to fight (GGG) instead of a guy who is 1-2 in his last 3 and never fought at middleweight? i'm sure GGG will let you walkout last if it means that much to you.
