Skimming through Chavez fight again........ Martinez is overrated.

havent gone back and watched their last fights yet but i remmeber from murray fight sergios knee was clearly messed up

Watching Sergio vs Chavez right now and Sergio's movement isn't great.

The wear and tear on his knee was probably affecting him even back in that fight.

You noticed that too. Chavez Jr. was just so slow and out of shape, it took him 11 rounds to make an impact. I mean look how slow Junior was on his feet and he STILL landed leather on Sergio.

i jus watched round 3 of the chavez fight which i posted 1 or 2 pages back. chavez was landing the left hook to the body

Congratulations Cotto! I did not think he could hurt the larger Marquez. Cotto is of one of my favorite fighters. At 147 he is top 5 in this era. I would like to see him at 154 in a rematch against Mayweather or a steroid free Manny. I don't know if he would win but he would do well and get a couple of 8 figure pay days.
