The public spoke out against Mayweather-Khan right away because Khan was undeserving and how much of a mismatch it was.

So they put off the promotion and wait a bit hoping the public is gullible and forgets. Then they will force it upon us. Meanwhile all the meaningful challenges for Mayweather move on to other fights enabling the promoters to find another sure win for Mayweather. History keeps repeating.
