Collazo's sonning of Ortiz was good for the sport....seeing him get emotional afterwards was some real heart felt ****....Collazo should have been the first dude to beat Hatton and Berto....dudes forget that and I'm glad he reminded us of how good he is by sonning Ortiz in Dos Rounds(shoutout homey lol)
Collazo beats Thurman imo....Collazo could give a few undefeated studs their first L imo....my boy Swift included.....glad that dude is back in the picture!!

Canelo was being handled fine up until the mosely fight,, that fight was fine, and showcased canelo on the floyd undercard, but then i think his handlers really dropped the ball and only had him fight twice over the next 16 months vs lopez and trout....
They should have had him fight shane in may, then ortiz in the summer, then k9 in sept, maybe ishe in dec, then trout in march or april, then angulo over the summer, then maybe a trout rematch late last year, and then be looking for cotto this year as a big event ppv, then look to floyd...
Going from one solid opponent in trout, to the mega event of the year with floyd is not the way to handle canelo if you really think he is the next big ppv star,, why rush him,, he was drawing money and ratings without floyd, so just keep canelo active, learning, and building experience,,
His lack of experience vs top level guys really showed vs floyd,, and ancient oscar, and faded cotto performed much better,, Why? because they had been on that stage many times and had the experience and knowledge to compete at that level..
Oscar had chavez 2, leija, genaro, camacho, pernell before he fought ike, tito, shane, vargas in big ppv showdowns
Cotto had corley, torres, judah, shane before they matched him vs margs, manny, floyd
Canelo had trout, then Floyd,, that's a huge gap in experience
It would be like sticking wilder in with Wlad this year

Collazo is a solid veteran fighter, and he did have a great win Thurs, but Thurman is another animal entirely. Collazo could time him and outwork him for a few rounds, but I just get the idea Thurman has more tricks in the bag than Collazo would have. It would be a good test and a good win for Thurman though. Definitely would be no walk in the park for him. Lotta good WW fights out there currently.
