I was favoring Ortiz to edge out Collazo and was thinking Thurman-Ortiz since Maidana seems not interested to face Thurman.

Ortiz is done, Thurman-Collazo, Thurman-Paulie, both win-win fights for Thurman while waiting for Maidana and Broner to settle their differences again.

You are automatically not giving Paulie or Louis a chance to win. He has fought nobody with the experience these guys have. Both are solid boxers that can make a puncher look real bad. Although Thruman is more than a puncher . He still would have a heluva time with either of these guys.

Lmao... 50 fights vs who,,, old shot fighters and undersized jr welters does not prepare u for Floyd, hence why canelo got totally undressed and looked like a novice pro vs Floyd...

Look at how oscar was handled,, he didn't go straight to Tito and Shane,,, they had him fight journeymen, then ranked guys, then let him get his feet wet in big fights vs big names on the slide like Chavez, Pernell, camacho, then as an established PPv fighter he landed the big fights with Ike, Tito, Shane, Vargas... Canelo went from never being in a big event to the biggest fight of the year,,, they should have kept him busy vs the likes of k9, Ortiz, ishe, and his first big PPv should have been a faded cotto and mayorga types,,, then onto big money events like Floyd.... Cotto should be to canelo, what Chavez was to Oscar

Look at canelo now,,, they have forced him into PPv and now he is in a must win vs angulo... Not exactly where u wanna be with a fighter that's only 23 or so...

By your lack of logic, wilder has 30 plus fights all stoppages, I'm sure you think he is ready for wlad

I agree, this would be a solid fight and I have a feeling Collazo's style would give Thurman some real problems. All those wide, jumping punches would be met with some sharp southpaw counters.

To be honest man, I don't think Angulo isn't gonna stand much of a chance against Canelo. The dude isn't garbage, he just wasn't ready for Floyd....then again, who has been?

I don't know,, If u listen to all the hype and articles on canelo, if all that stuff is true then he should ice angulo by the mid rounds or win a wide decision, but me personally have always thought of canelo as a Lucien bute caliber fighter that can beat a lot of guys but struggle at the top level.. I can totally see angulo running over canelo ala froch vs bute

I think it's a 50/50 fight due to this being the first fresh power puncher pressure fighter canelo has ever faced.. Sure he fought trout and Floyd but those guys aren't big punchers with pressure, that can cause you serious damage

I lean towards canelo because I think angulo will do good but his eye could become a problem and get stopped on it sorta like margarito vs cotto 2

To be honest...we dont know if the record builder Canelo didnt take a pay off either. It was rumored! Angulo cant be underestimated either.
