I was hoping he would get the Broner/Maidana winner or the Alexander/Porter winner.

I'd rather see Collazo vs Porter or the Ghost.
This. Could give Collazo Alexander too.

Thurman deserves a title fite asap i mean hes not only beating fiters he breaks them down. More than your usual big punch brawlers. Collazo should fight Paulie Malignaggi in a Brooklyn showdown which will be a big fite and builds good momentum towards a title fight for either person.
Be careful when moving fighters,, thurman still needs some time to develop and you dont want to rush him,,, look at canelo, they rushed him vs floyd and now he is basically in a must-win situation vs angulo

i wouldnt mind if thurman fought porter or maidana, but I think he should fight a collazo or julio diaz, and look for a title fight 2-3 fights from now IMO

Building fighters is very tricky,, look at vargas, ortiz, canelo, juanma,

You need to keep young contenders active and constantly learning vs experience vets like julio diaz and collazo

Respect to Collazo, a true warrior in the ring but Thurman is hungry for a title and anybody in his way is in danger. Kudos to my boy Collazo for calling out Keith unlike some other fighters that have ducked him.

Any combination of Thurman/Collazo/Maidana will do.

I could also see a collazo-brook happening as well

Alot of interesting fights to make at 147
Brook ain't fighting nobody unless there's big money or a winnable title.

That may be true, but that matchup does make sense to me,, now will it happen, no probably not

Collazo just did us a favor. He got rid of Ortiz, at least for a second, and injected some intrigue into the division. Styles make fights and he can pull off some wins against some of the champs at 147.
