Didn't look in that much pain when he was up hugging Collazo 3 seconds later

Let's just get all the excuses out of the way in one post. Vic wasn't ready. Vic was rusty. Collazo got lucky. Vic isn't a real Mexican. The punch to the back of the head was illegal. Vic tripped. Ref was PR and helped Collazo. This Mex/PR rivalry don't count. Etc.

I don't like to say that a fighter is done after a loss or two, but Victor Ortiz is done...

Ortiz lost any respect he still had in the game with that one.
Cong**** to Collazo, great win in front of the home crowd.
yes, i had the feeling that he could have gotten up, but he didn't want it, at least that it's how it looked to me

Was it just me or did he quit again?? Happy for Collazo, wish it had gone on a little longer before Collazo knocked him out, I thnk he would have gotten more credit if he got to show more of his skills and heart but Ortiz had other plans in mind I guess...ref gave him at least a 13 second count and he still didn't get up...ref finishes count and Ortiz is up like a jack in a box...I dunno I don't get this kid, it's not even his heart or his chin lacking thats his issue, he's like Khan, they just get so excited that they leave themselves open for really massive shots to land. I mean, everyone gets hit in boxing but the way these two take shots FLUSH to the face is ******...at least Khan has more balls and heart and skill to take it and land his own and keep going but Ortiz is pretty much finished now. And Khan looked finished in his last fight, we'll see. Everyone's got a number, you can only get hit like that so many times, and Ortiz's just came up!

Very underrated. After the Hatton and Berto fights, nobody would fight him cause it would be high risk low rewards fight. Collazo got robbed in both those fights.
Nobody knows collazo, but everyone knows he got robbed against hatton,he was the first guy to beat berto as well and lost to shane moseley but nobody knows who he is?? Gtfoh your just an ortiz hater who got lucky with his prediction..

This is funny... 'fans' counting Ortiz out for good. HE'S DONE! GLASS JAW! HA! That's a huge load of b.s. The man got caught with a punch that would drop and/or stop ANY WW. And suddenly he's trash? I've said it many times, but it bears repeating... glad I never turned pro. What a fickle bunch of 'fans'. Anyone with a boxing brain knows Collazo is no pushover. I actually thought he won vs Berto. Anyway, maybe one day you 'fans' will learn to stop ganging up on someone who has provided you with a shiiii-load of exciting fights thru the years... win or lose. I won't hold my breath though.
