Perhaps...but IMO he doesn't deserve an immediate shot at a 147 belt. Title shots needs to be earned (at least in my view). There was no demand for an immediate rematch with Bradley. Bradley put Marquez to the back of the line. He should face Provo to say he's a legitimate 140 lb champion. After that, if he wins,.. then he can be back in the running.

Marquez should just damn retire if he's not gonna truly step up when a legitimate contender/champion challenges him.

How long have you been watching boxing no one earns a title shot.Marquez has done more than enough in his career to earn another shot to say otherwise is being disrespectful or simply letting emotions get in the way.

If Marquez was a free agent he wouldn't have this problem. He should've followed Cotto's lead! I would love to see him face Mayweather on Cinco de Mayo. After putting Pacquiao to sleep, he earned a rematch with Floyd. Too bad he's stuck at TR!

Im just saying the truth. Marquez has not done enough in 140-147 divisions to warrant "Diva" status. He needs to retire, or fight Morales or Barrera in Mexico, or he needs to step up and fight any legitimate contender.

Get Over Marquez; He Fluked A KO On Pac, He Doesn't Deserve Floyd, Provo Destroys JMM

JMM is stuck. Bradley isn't giving him a rematch, and Marquez doesn't deserve one; Floyd wouldn't give him one! Bradley is about to get whacked by Pacquiao. No way will Marquez risk another fight with Manny when he was behind and about out in the last fight. He knows Provo is too young and strong and relentless, and doesn't have the strength to hold Provo off. Porter is too young and fast. Maidana is too young and hits too hard. Lightweight Power Paulie Mags is all that's left. That would be the real weasel in Marquez to fight Mags just to collect the safest belt at '47 then go into hiding. Why is it different and respectable for Marquez to beg Bradley for a fight, when Pacquiao has been waiting 5 years for Floyd to grow a set and fight him. Hell, Floud wouldn't fight Pac. Bradley wouldn't fight Pac. Marquez wouldn't fight Pac. Everyone else had a dance partner, so Pac fought Rios who everyone said that was such a dangerous fight for Manny and this would be the beginning of the end for Pac. Now those naysayers can't be found. JMM just go away. You can't beat anyone now that you'll have to drug test again.

bradley should have looked at marquez before he signed an extension with top rank.

jmm has no-one to fight at top rank and bradley is thinking too short-term. after all, bradley, does lead a vegan lifestyle, doubt he drinks. all the best young 147 pounders are at golden boy.
