I'm Dominican and was rooting for Mendez, but this is bs. Barthelemy was going to knock Mendez out sooner or later. Mendez brought nothing to the fight. R.B. did a great job and deserves an immediate rematch or a bigger fight.

I agree It wouldn't be right, but idk nothing in there really says that a rematch was mandated already just that it could be, but just that it could be and that Mendez camp said they would want a rematch regardless of the outcome isn't enough for me, because now that the outcome is in their favor I wonder what will really happen. I've seen weirder **** happen in boxing, and I cant say I would be surprised if we didn't see a rematch unfortunately.

I'm ok with the N.C. . It's the right call according to the rules. But I do expect now for a rematch to get made ASAP

Wow one of the few times where boxing decides to do the right thing. The last few wins i've seen overturned to NC's were Bradley-Campbell and Dawson-Hopkins I.

Just cause a fighter was gonna get KO'ed anyway, doesn't mean he should get attacked after the bell. Let's be fair here, KO some one within the round, you have 3 minutes to do it. Why get greedy throwing punches after the bell.
