It sounds like it. Unless I misunderstood this:

"The International Boxing Federation (IBF) ruled from the beginning that there were sufficient grounds to demand a return bout."

It sounds like both team want it and Barthelemy said he would rematch Mendez. So the ball is in Mendez' court?

Wasn't he like 127? How the **** did he struggle?

I like Mendez and I hate to question his heart but that's the feeling I've been getting too. Since the beginning.

"Tramposo", eh? lol Mendez is one lucky kid Barthelemy landed a couple of punches after the bell. His goose was cooked.

Look me up when these two rematch. Bring all your points.

                  Good

Good. You don't take a guy's title on a foul.

I understand the ruling. It just sucks because Barthelemy was kicking his ass. I hope they have a rematch.

Well, for those of us who have been watching these fighters I knew from the beginning that something was not right with Mendez. He might not have a granite chin but he has never been that weak even in the ending rounds. I know that Rances has some pop but to me it was more Mendez than it was Rances. Mendez can take punches a lot better and the reason I know this is because even when his gloves were up he was still getting shook...that was very strange.
Anyhow, from what I heard is that he waited until like the last two weeks to loose like 14 lbs and that must of affected him big time. So, if he looses the weight gradually this time then I think we will have a different fight in our hands. Hell, I heard he was feeling dizzy while he was waiting to enter the ring. I mean..don't get me wrong I am just repeating what was said....it could be just excuses so I can't say that's a fact. All I know is that I have never seen him that weak in any fight before.
So, for those people that have probably only seen Mendez once and saw what happened stop passing judgement without having a good background on the guy. These are the kind of fans who watch a fight or two and think they are all of a sudden expects of the game. Just my two cents.
