Khan has the tools to give Mayweather one of the best fights of his career, if he comes in fully prepared, conditioned and sticks to an adaptable game plan.

All Floyd has to do is step to the side or step back and keep his philly shell high. the check hook that Danny hit Khan with is Floyd's bread and butter for countering Khan. Speed is easily nutralized if you have the skill set to do it. Floyd Does, and Khan doesn't. Roach, Khan, and Manny are waaaay too emotional to beat Floyd. Now! styles do make fights but seriously what does Khan bring into this fight to topple Floyd aside from his speed. Honestly..... Many fighters have the style to beat Mayweather, problem is they are not good a enough at that style. Why is that so hard to understand?

Khan has a style that could trouble Mayweather, the style it self can trouble Mayweather NOT Khan. Because Khan is now a mediocre fighter, so no matter what style he uses he is not good enough to implement it right. Much worse fighters deal with Khan just fine, because he's not very good anymore.

Cotto won 8 rounds total on the judges scorecards. We can do evens that khan won't win 8 rounds or more on 3 scorecards collectively and if he gets knocked out I win even if he's already won 8 rounds total.

So if mayweather wins 117-111, 117-111, 118-110 you win 50 mil.

Khan could be considered a better fighter than all those fighters. He beat Malignaggi better than both Hatton and Cotto were able to. Im not saying Khan beats Floyd but he could give him a hell of a fight and it might be a close one so who knows.

If Khan was a more disciplined fighter he would have a shot. He has shown the speed and footwork to oupoint a guy like Floyd. Although his last two fights it appears he has regressed.
His problem would be he would get ****** into engaging with Floyd and once Mayweather times him up it would just be a matter of time before he lands a big one.
Roach is correct, I don't think anyone is going to KO Floyd, he is too crafty for that. You have to be willing to outwork him every round and not stay in the pocket or he will eat you up easily.
That's why the Pacquao fight was so intriguing in 2010-2011. Pac had the footwork and handspeed to get in with his combinations and be out before Floyd could react. The chess match of what would have happened once Floyd figured him out would have been amazing but know the fight is just a shell of its former self.

Khan does have the right style to be problematic for floyd, with fast hands, combo punching, etc...

What khan lacks is the ring IQ, chin, and ring generalship to beat floyd, and those flaws will be exploited by floyd

i agree. Though I would say that in the fights that Khan goes in with a healthy respect of his opponent (zab, maidana, even Paulie being his first US fight and Paulie being a big name) he is a lot more aware and cautious and fights more under control and disciplined. So i doubt we see Khan throw those thought-less wild combos like you saw in the Garcia fight against floyd.
And i dont think Khan is slowing down, he's only 27 or something, those last two fights, especially Diaz, had more to do with him adjusting to Hunters instructions and over thinking against a veteran.
I know everyone who writes here is very much against this fight, but i'll be looking forward to it...if anything bc/ floyd is gonna have to show us something he hasn't had to in his recent fights.
