Other than Garcia's two handedness, ability to catch and shoot, Cotto is the all around better boxer. Miguel may be a little too physically strong, lets not forget he out wrestled Mosley. Cotto will also exploit Garcia's inability to fight on the inside, Garcia won't be strong enough to maintain the clinch and Cotto's boxing ability would have been good enough to have worked for him as well. I really enjoy watching Garcia, love his progress, I'd like to think he could have taken a prime Miguel but at this point I can't see it.

you're clearly talking about the welterweight cotto. How about the "vulnerable" torres/corley cotto. you think the jab and the left hook to the body breaks down swift.

That one struggled with weight so it's possible but I'd rather talk about a '47 Cotto because make no mistake, Danny Garcia is a big big Jr WW. I wouldn't at all be shocked if moving up does Garcia well.

i think hes gonna translate well at 147. carrying both his chin and power. but this kid needs more seasoning compared with the welterweight cotto.

Cotto has a great jab and left hook to the body.

Garcia has a better chin and stamina.

it wouldve been a great fight

At 140 Cotto wins by tko on body shots. Ppl like to think Cotto was chinny at 140 but he took a lot of massive bombs from torres(in many rounds) and only went down once by a push. Any ways at 140 Cotto was too good going to the body to lose.

At 147 I think the Cotto wins by decision. The timing of Cotto's jab will set the pace of the fight, but he didn't go that much to the body so i see the fight going the distance.
