  • As a fan, the decision sucks. I would love to see Bradley against Golden Boy fighters.
But I also can see Bradley's decision here. There really is no guarantee that he'll ever get a Mayweather fight, and he won't make that much more money fighting Golden Boy fighters than he will fighting the recycled fighters of Top Rank. I doubt he'd make more than 2 million fighting Maidana, and he would probably make just as much in a rematch with Provo II.

    • its true mayweather doesn't give fans the fights they want to see with the exception of canelo but of course he had to weight drain him.

      • I think Arum let Bradley know that if he waits to get to free agency the deal he would be offered from TR would be significantly lower.
No doubt a Floyd fight would be appealing but would he really be making more than $6 million for Floyd? I doubt it. If Guerrero got 3 million on Cinco de Mayo I doubt Bradley would command much more.

its sad that two idiots schaffer and aeum who dont even box can stop fighters from fighting each other and ruin the sport. they made boxing about them. it should be illegal really.

You can not be serious with that comment! Rob Arum and Konz are royally screwing their man dude and you think somehow they have Bradley, a fighter they clearly have issues with (Bradley said it himself, love hate relationship, more hate that love) have his best interest! Okay.

So now he beat Pac, because just yesterday a ton of Pac fans said that Bradley didn't win more than 3 rounds against Pac. Which one is it? Yawl can not have it both ways. And Bradley is hardly in talks about being in the HOF, let's be serious.

Take the names of the fighters I posted there..Mix and match them, you'd get different winners bro..I don't believe any of these guy's to be head and shoulder better then the other guy..That goes for Bradley and Pac as well..The only guy I think is head and shoulder better is Mayweather..That's just cause his track rec..I think all these guy's can lose to the other..So let's stop trying to act as if GBP stable are such better fighters..It's deeper I'll give ya that..(In my Nancy Grace voice)Better I'm not buying it buddy..

Oh and believe me the landscape will change..The money will dictate that it does..
That you speak in Nancy Grace's voice shows that you don't know what you're talking about because she never does either...

I can see Alvarado beating those same guy's mention..Let's please cut the bull****..GBP may have a deeper stable,I don't think that means they have the better fighters..I think these guy's are even..
                You're delusional

                • So by refusing to work with Bob Arum, Floyd in fact, is putting money in arum's pocket.

Once that goes, so does his market value.
LOL. There are no offers. He has a minimum guarantee in his contract. For all the reasons you are saying. You're helping my argument.

And those fights are not guaranteed. A street dude from Palm Springs isn't exactly 1.5 million PPV buys. If boxing worked like a sport should then Floyd/Bradley would be major. But they were to chicken **** to let Khan fight Devon Alexander for a shot at Mayweather. What makes anyone so sure they would put one of their aces in the ring with Bradley; a way better opponent than Devon?

My guess is that he will be mix and matched with Porter/Thurman/Devon/Maidana/Guerrero, etc. over the next 2-3 years or so. Difficult fight after difficult fight for way less money than he is getting from Bob and HBO.
