I respect his decision. He's right...he has to due whats best for HIM, and frankly he may make more money with Top Rank than he would with Golden Boy. Other than Pacquiao, Bradley is one of the best fighters they have, so he'll be a priority.

I like Bradley but I cant see how staying at top rank benefits him. Other than fighting Pacquiao theres nothing for him there. At GBP he has many more lucrative options even if he doesn't get the Mayweather fight. In fact, there are fighters at Golden Boy I would pick to beat Bradley. There are much more competitive fights for him at Gbp with Garcia, Matthysse, Maidana, Thurman, Canelo, Guerrero, Porter, Malignaggi, Khan all being possible fights for him.

I disagree, no one is going to Top Rank, besides Guerrero possibly.

Bradley is in a graveyard of Boxers.

So he fights, Alvarado? Ruslan 2? Thats just a pathetic lineup

Question: Why is it Bradley's responsibility to leave Top Rank and not Guerrero, Garcia, Maidana, Broner and whoever's responsibility to leave GBP to pursue a Bradley fight?

          Facts:

Bradley is the #1 welterweight NOT named Floyd Mayweather
Bradley makes more money than ANY WW fighter on GBP's roster
Bradley headlined more PPVs than ANY WW fighter on GBP's roster
Bradley is higher ranked pound for pound than ANY fighter on GBP's roster

The way I see it, the fighters over at GBP need to go to Bradley. He owes them nothing.

Bottom line: You take guaranteed money over uncertainty in the fight game. Bradley's job is to fight. Its up to the promoters to find opponents that can justify the money that they are paying him. If Top Rank runs out of opponents, either they need to work with other promoters or take losses by paying Bradley too much money for easy fights.

one thing that i agreed with tim is that if he does leave TR there is NO guarantee that he'll get a fight with floyd. and the flomos was on here saying if pac doesnt leave arum so he can get a fight with floyd then that means pac is ducking lol. i guess tim is ducking floyd also lol.. remember u guys said floyd can make any fight happen IF he wanted too, floyd picks his own opponents and floyd calls all the shot. so if he wanted pac or tim it can be done! he just doesnt want it, plain and simple.

Top Rank has a thinner stable of fighters. There's easier fights there for him.

Let's say Bradley beats Pacquaio, what's next? Provodnikov 2? Rios?

I can understand his line of thinking because he's likely to make a lot of money with his new contract but seems to me the better idea in the long run would be to jump ship.

Imagine if he were to beat Pacquaio them got himself into fights with Garcia, Thurman, Matthysse, Porter, Maidana, Broner etc etc etc the list goes on and of course Mayweather.
boxing is business, if tim can fight average top rank fighters and still make xxx amount then why not?? its easy money remember??

Prov Rios Alvarado and Abregu all I would give a good shot to beat Broner Khan Garcia Thurman..There really is no different except GBP fighters might be a bit younger..Don't mean that they would hands down win against TR fighters..This is a myth,a ****ty one at that..

Take the names of the fighters I posted there..Mix and match them, you'd get different winners bro..I don't believe any of these guy's to be head and shoulder better then the other guy..That goes for Bradley and Pac as well..The only guy I think is head and shoulder better is Mayweather..That's just cause his track rec..I think all these guy's can lose to the other..So let's stop trying to act as if GBP stable are such better fighters..It's deeper I'll give ya that..(In my Nancy Grace voice)Better I'm not buying it buddy..

Oh and believe me the landscape will change..The money will dictate that it does..

just curious, but did u feel the same way with pac when the discussion about how pac should leave top rank so he can get a fight with floyd? i dont recall what ur opinion on that subject is, but reading this about tim and how u feel he made the right decision kinda made me wonder because i know on that thread about pac should leave arum most of the post was saying if pac choose to stay with arum then he's ducking floyd and he's dumb because he's not getting paid the right amount, etc.

                      I disagree.

GoldenBoy fighters are not hungry for opponents to face.
Look at their 147 stable compared to Top Ranks

                      GoldenBoy

                      Floyd Mayweather
                      Matthyse - possible 147
                      Garcia - possible 147
                      Amir Khan
                      Victor Ortiz
                      Adrien Broner
                      Luiz Collazo
                      Zab Judah
                      Paulie
                      Devon Alexander
                      Andre Berto
                      Porter
                      Thurman

ALL of these are BIG names, which means a good sized check...

                      Top Rank
                      Manny Pacquiao
                      Juan Marquez
                      Alvarado
                      Provodo

And whoever else is not a big name not listed on the TR list
