Former world champion Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga is dis*****g a recent press release that was issued by promoter Don King, who claimed in an issued statement that he was once again promoting the Nicaraguan fighter. Mayorga says he broke ties with King in 2011.

Mayorga last fought in March of 2011, losing by way of a twelfth round knockout at the hands of Miguel Cotto. After not receiving any offers from King, he entered the cage of Mixed Martial Arts and held several fights before deciding to return to boxing at the end of last year.
