When he said he would like to be on the Mayweather undercard is because he knows that's where he's is going.

I would love to see Mares vs. Gary Russell Jr. on the Mayweather undercard! I would also like to see Matthyse step up to 147 and fight Alexander or Thurman on the card too.

Not sure why you would want to see Matthyse fight Alexander again but him and Thurman would be good.

Gonzales might have a "stay busy" fight with Viorel Simion in the meantime in Mexico. I won't say they'll have a surprise but Simion is gonna bring it. As long as he can stay on his feet. Would be entertaining either way.

I hope this fight lands in April it needs to be a main event in southern Cali. I don't blame Mares wanting to fight on Cinco De mayo weekend though.

They fought at 140. I think it would be a good measuring stick to see if his power carries over to 147. He might want to find out before he fights Thurman or Porter. He don't wanna go out like Broner!

I do not know why anybody wants to see Alexander fight, he quit against Bradley and is one if not the most boring fighters there is and I am using the word fighter loosely. He is perfect for insomnia. zzzzzzzzzzz

Just after Mares got stopped I said that he should take a longer time off...
                    ... I was right.

Nothing like your trainer's not thinking you are ready to make you postpone a fight due to an injury.
