Wilder can punch, no doubt. But can he box? It takes alot more than punching when you get to the top if you want to stay there.

I like Wilder. I'm just not sold.
I think he's a huge KO just waiting to happen.

Boxing though entertaining isn't for the most part a real sport more than it is a fun to watch scam if we are really being honest without our selves about what we are watching and people are falling for it.
For all the "he only had 20 amateur fights" etc, I'm following this gospel as well.
There's usually a reason for someone being brought along so slowly - especially in today's heavyweight division, where you're 1 fight away from a title shot at all times.

I think his handlers know that he has a shaky chin. Perhaps he was schooled in sparring, knocked down or out (or all three things). We've seen it happen before. People like Wilder come and go very quickly.

We know this already. He was sent home early from sparring by Wladimir and Haye.

The guy has a weak chin; that's the only explanation for his 'progress' and going after Scott.

He has one punch KO power I'll give him that. But he needs to fight some more serious competition for me to consider him the real deal. The upcoming fight he has against Malik is a step in the right direction.

True. It was a while back though, and Haye seemed to be pretty happy with him for the Fury camp.

He was probably sent home because he was ****. Regardless, those were arguably two of the three best heavies on the planet when he sparred them, so he could still go after the likes of Chagaev, Povetkin, Chisora, Fury etc. Good fighters, but not big punchers.

It's strange to think this guy has had more professional fights than David Haye and Povetkin.
