This would be a fun fight between two big punchers. It would be nice to see Kid step up his competition though. This seems like a fight made for New York City. I say pair it up with Malignaggi/Garcia in the spring. Maybe even throw Thurman/Porter on it too and you have a great tripleheader.

My hopes of Golovkin and Quillin getting into the ring aren't high right now. This just looks like Quillin fighting a common opponent. Either way, I'd be interested and Stevens is obviously dangerous.

Can't blame him honestly. Cold war prevents anything from happening. Next best thing is build common opponents and compare.

I like Jacobs more, but it's an in house fight they could build much bigger and having it headline Barclays center

Basically it's Pac/May routine. Both can' fight each other, so they'll just fight common opponents.

Why can't they fight each other? GGG is not a Top Rank fighter, sure he is with HBO but that doesn't mean it can't be made. Quillin has been fighting B-level opposition for a while now and not even active enough. He needs to step it up and fight some decent opponents to get people talking and possibly land a PPV with GGG.

GBP fighters in an exclusive contract with Showtime.... they own their U.S broadcasting rights.

HBO has the broadcasting rights of Golovkin in the U.S...that's why it can't be viewed in the U.S like last time,when it was on an independent

It can happen.... overseas I think. As far as I know, HBO only has the broadcasting rights for the U.S.
Make a big enough fight in Germany or something and not have it broadcasted in the U.S and I think it can be made.... that's just what I think.

Golovkin can fight outside in Monaco with free reign under a Cold War free promoter....just needs to be money from somewhere.
