He hasn't shown that since his inactivity. He's no longer what he once was and looked god awful against Perez. He should be easily mopped up against Garcia and it's another named opponent who hasn't done much to add to his list.

Imo this is the type of fight Gamboa needs to get him to the Gamboa of old. Gamboa still fresh, he hasn't been in many wars, sure he's gotten dropped but even after that he still very dangerous. Going to be good, I still sideing with Gamboa to win. I don't think Garcia hits harder than Deleon, he may be more skilled but doesn't have more power. If this fight does get made it will put Gamboa in the right mindset, a fighter of his caliber only needs a little motiviaion and this fight is the one he going after and if he gets it he will be up for this fight.
