Danny deserves an easy one and this Herrera guy is a fringe contender so it'll be a showcase performance. I see wat they doin by connecting Garcia with his Rican fanbase hopefully he brushes on the Spanish as i heard he aint so good. He can ezily take Cotto's place for them.

Did the HBO fever finally catch SHO

      With a bull**** tripleheader????
Thank god this wasn't a PPV event...
GBP are taking a page out of T.R. with serving us carp fish, and tell us it's lobster.
Also shame on Swift Garcia. You claim to be the best, but you're cherry picking now. I guess that Matthyese victory got to your head as well.
Someone said it correctly on this site. "Someone is really guzzling the koolaid"

lmfao I predicted Schafer would run with the whole "He beat Provodnikov" thing to try and legitimize the fight. It's a terrible fight. I expect him to keep bringing up that fact several times throughout the build up to the fight.

Wilder vs. Scott is actually the best fight on the card. Scott will be the best opponent Wilder faced so far. Scott is coming off a loss, so we'll see how Wilder handles a boxer. The problem Scott has is that he's featherfisted. I think you need some power to beat Wilder.

Juanma vs. Ponce De Leon is a bad fight. Juanma is finished.

Will TR allow their future Super Star to fight under a GB event? If it was me, Ill let him get the PR fan exposure!
Nope tr said he's going the week b4 or after that card. Mad excited to see Verdejo move his way up the rankings. This kid looks like he's gonna be special, not good like the majority of guys campaigning from 140 to 154 but special. On that Tito,Oscar, floyd and manny level if you catch my drift.

Yeah, I hate to say I saw it coming but it was the same thing as Broner in a sense. These dudes get all propped up and think they are unbeatable and once they lose...they have flashbacks because they think they can make it back up on that pedestal to the "big leagues" and they never let the past go. Dude is finished, he looks like he regressed 95% from what he once was...same thing with Broner, Khan and Berto....said the same thing about all 4 guys too.

No ****. And Herrera didn't exactly beat Provodnikov. The fight could've easily been scored for Ruslan, or at worst a draw. I didn't see Herrera winning that one at all.

Considering what Ruslan just did to Alvarado, a win in a close fight or a draw vs Provodnikov tells me he's not exactly easy work. Ok fight IMO and it's not like there's a bunch of guys at jr ww anyway for Danny to fight.

I think Ruslan has improved since then but yeah, Herrera isn't a bad defense, I was just replying to Schaefer's predictable comments.
