According to ESPN article Boxing is the Most Difficult Sport

I found this article it may be old but nonetheless interesting. Its ranking sports in 10 different categories to decide the degree of difficulty in each one. Boxing comes up ranked at 1 with Ice Hockey at 2.

    Heres the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/sportSkills

This is a good thing to keep in mind when calling some fighter a bum or what not

I've participated in 7 different sports on a organized level, none of them came close to how hard boxing was, which is why I fell in love with it.

this is why its hard to take people on these boards serious, when they say a boxer that has made it to the championship level is a "bum" or a coward I dismiss everything that person ever has to say, and will never take them serious EVER. They have NO idea how much work and dedication it takes, so since they arent willing to put in the work, they put in hate.

Boxing is literally human chess. Of course it's the most difficult sport on this planet. Add in the fact that if you make a wrong move, you can literally get permanent damage to your body.

And unlike other sports, no substitutions, and no injury breaks. You get hurt, or are tired, tough luck.

There's a science to not blowing your load in the ring and pacing yourself. That's why a guy like Manny is an anomaly.

                Golf slightly harder than cheerleading.

Nah UFC is too gay. Humping and all that.

Honestly I see it like this: a great MMA fighter can be decent in all of their martial arts including boxing and takeover UFC.

In boxing you can't be average and make it big. You have one skillset to perfect and that's it
