This guy can talk all he wants in the sideline, but is he willing to step in the ring with Maidana? Twice? We know he turned it down once already.

How else can you explain it? His ole lady having a baby made him unavailable for a fight in in late Apr. But he was willing and able to fight Floyd a couple weeks later the first fight in May. Please.

Personally, I don't think he can. He can outbox Chino. But he's not skilled enough to do it for 12rds. He's pretty good defensivly. But he's not good enough to make Chino miss everything. So the moment of truth where AB is hit with a bomb is inevitable. Maidana will hurt AB enough to carry several rounds. And its very likely that he'll drop AB, which means extra points on the card. And personally, I don't think AB will be allowed to suffer the amount of punishment he suffered in the first fight. He has the excuse of being too small for 47. And he's capable of fighting at 40, maybe even 35. So when it comes down to it, I'm probably picking Chino via stoppage.

This has nothing to do with Maidana hoping AB will get fat by making him wait.

Some of that can be genetic. What you guys are forgetting is that its the first time Broner got tapped by someone not smaller framed than him. Malignaggi, Demarco, them dudes have no flex for a guy who walks around heavier than they do. You guys can make up all sorts of reasons why he lost the fight but won't acknowledge the main one "The kid's defense is Shhhh... and his stance is wayyy too wide" that second knock down is a prime example..wide stance he leaned back but because his front leg was so far in front of him he couldn't slide. That's fine to do with smaller guys but with guys who pack a punch you can't do that.
BTW, 6 outta 36. GTFOH

The dude is a power puncher. That's how he fights. That's like saying Broner only won the 3 rounds he won because he was faster. It makes no sense. You can't take away a fighters attributes to suit your argument. Broner was out-landed 32-5 in the first rounds. He was continually pummeled in rounds that he didn't go down in. He only did good in a few rounds because Chino got tired from goin upside his head so much. The fact of the matter is that Broner has bad defense and doesn't punch enough. It showed against Gavin & Paulie big time and he paid for it against Maidana. The flaws have been there and will continue to be there until he changes his ways in the ring. The truth is the Broner simply is not as good as he says he is. He has never beaten a good quality fighter without controversy and he has only fought 3-4 high level opponents. He really is kind of like Berto in how he was brought along as a fighter.

this kid right here dont know what he's talkin about!!!!
Chino out landed ab, pwoer punched the hell outta ab and the only time chino was hurt was by a late punch AFTER the 11th round finished!
Dont get me wrong kid, ab has some skill, but he went about the fight the wrong way! if he chooses to fight fire with fire in the rematch, he gets stopped! If he chooses to a boxer puncher(which he can do), its more of an even fight imo. the problem with the kid is that he does not stay in shape and ply his craft like he should between fights. he likes the lavish life more so, and it will be his downfall
