The Nonito we last saw was not much different from the Nonito of old. He is a natural counterpuncher, if you don't give him many counter opportunities, he can look lost. He needs his opponent to come at him, and Salido would do just that. Donaire by easy KO.

Donaire by decision due to the style advantage. Donaire will counter all night.

All this countering talk. Has Donaire looked confident enough to wanna counter?

Donaire isn't stopping Salido and we know how he looks when he can't stop his opponent.

It surprises me how people think Donaire is some monster puncher at 126 and think Salido is some mindless brawler. If Marquez, Mickey and Lopez couldn't stop Salido, Donaire sure as hell wont. People forget Salido is an experienced vet, he adjusted to Lopez, was beginning to pick up the pace against Mikey and hung in there with Marquez, Donaire will get pressured and possibly stopped if he trades with Salido, nothing Donaire does will lead me to believe he beats Salido easily. Salido by UD or possible TKO.

Well, Donaire's KO ratio at 126 is 100%. He is 1/1, and it was practically a one punch KO. At 122 he knocked down all five of his opponents, and stopped two of them.

He is probably not a "monster puncher", it's his combination of handspeed and power that's devastating for a lot of opponents. We is worlds faster than Marquez, Lopez or even Mikey.

That knockout was against a guy he easily KO'd years back and struggled to do so. They aren't as fast as Donaire but Salido can time him and avoid his left hook, and IMO outbox him.

They still have the image of a 118lb Donaire in their head.

Gamboa couldn't even stop Salido either.
