Mayweather: what has Africa done for me?

There's a limitation to tax deductions, and in America I don't think donations to foreign charities can be used as a tax deductible unless they are annexed to a domestic organisation.
The later part of your post is a harsh way of describing what most people think. Generally speaking, people don't work hard to throw their money away on things that don't really concern them, they look to get something out of it. From what I understand he is charitable domestically; most people can see the return from helping people in the same community as them because they are easier to empathise with. When it concerns people on a different continent it becomes harder for individuals to feel that sense of connection that makes them reach for their pocket.
I mean from a personal point of view, I find his lack of connection with Africa disappointing. However that's down to my views on Africans and Africa in the diaspora as a whole, not down to people perceiving him as a Grinch because he doesn't care to help people who have zero affect on his life.Comment

Violent tone LOL...what are you 12? I post my question to see why most of you spend the majority of your time on here following this guys every move. If you have a man crush I understand that but hell you guys make it seem like you wake up everyday and google Floyd mayweather to keep up with his everyday schedule. It's kind of sad.
Your turn.Comment
