1. Ward
2. Bradley
3. D. Garcia
4. Mares
5. Canelo
Edit: Reasonings. Ward will be around for a while longer, this is a 3-4 year from now list mostly. Bradley will also be around though his competition going forward could hurt. Garcia fights almost anyone you want to put in front of him, and he wins even when no one thinks he can, he has intangibles and a hard work ethic. With a loss or two if he keeps up his resume he'll hold it. Mares lost but don't count him out he hustles, has a good inside game and again fights tough fights. Canelo for the same reasons above, mostly the tough fights.
If the few at the top are left, Ward/Bradley no one else will have "earned" the claim to that spot. Hence with the fights Mares,Garcia, and Canelo are taking it's their spot to lose going forward, I think they have the skills to win most of them too. Bradley will probably be fighting lesser opposition but he'll sort of be grandfathered in as almost all p4pers at the top 1-2 really have been.
