***8220;He went for the knockout, definitely,***8221; Bradley said. ***8220;Pacquiao was the better man. He still has it. The reason I love him is he never ducks an opponent. He still has the sharp snap.***8221;

What an excellent weekend of action. I think the fight lived up to the height although it could've been even better.
First, props to Manny Pacquiao, a true living legend. Yeah, he's lost a step or two but I saw desire and the heavy-handedness remains. To defeat a pound for pounder like Bradley at this stage of his career is monumental. His time, however, is short but I firmly believe he should attempt to defeat Marquez or Mayweather and then ride into the sunset.Comment

Thank you, gents. To see Pacquiao during the post-fight interview, classy as ever and with enough wits about him to crack a joke (about where he was hurt), is one of the moments where you have to respect the man. I can't stand most of his fans for their lunacy (and sometimes idiocy) but the man himself has always carried himself above the fray as best as he could and he has given us many, many memories. I don't know if he we'll win his next big fight but if he doesn't, it's been a wonderful journey.Comment
