It honestly wouldn't surprise me if Bradley does a lot better in the rematch. Pac should take it but it'll be much closer than the one sided wipe out they had the first going. 8-4 Pac

This is gonna be a BADASS fight.

The first time, Manny slept on Bradley and took the last half of the fight easy. This time around Pacquiao and Roach will have the hindsight of the Bradley-Provodnikov fight, ideally Manny will go for the knockout.

Tim will fight his ass off. This is a do-or-die fight for him and make no mistake. The first time around Tim was hitting the big stage for the first time, he wanted to play it careful against Pacquiao. After 12 rounds he now has Manny's style figured out. He'll know that this time around there will be no excuses. He knows he needs to win big to gain the respect of fans.

This is a really good rematch IMO! I think we'll get a really good main event because of where the guys are in their careers.

The only time Rios got caught in that round was when he put his hands down.

Now imagine a fighter with faster footwork, hand speed, and IQ doing that in spurts against Manny. Clottey did a good job with the high guard against Manny and landed some clean hard counters, he just did it for the whole fight and didn't made any adjustments, and Manny outworked him.
Fighters take the high guard when they don't have another defensive answer. Clottey wasn't successful with his high guard; he adopted it as a survival mechanism and as a result he completely fell off in punch output. It's not a defensive technique that works against Pacquiao because Pacquiao throws so many punches that, if you're relying on the high guard to avoid them, you'll be relying on that high guard through the entire fight.

Marquez has been Pacquiao's most consistent foil and he's never used a high guard against him. He uses head movement, footwork feints, and a loose guard to parry incoming shots, and always has a hand in position to counter. Marquez doesn't sacrifice offense with his defensive style, so Pacquiao's high output doesn't shut him out like it does other fighters.

The path to success against Pacquaio is to have a defensive style that does not sacrifice offense. Most people think Mayweather would school him precisely because Mayweather has a defensive style that does not compromise his offensive abilities (if anything it helps him set up punches).

Bradley by UD...8-4. Pac looks to roach for answers between rounds and the only answer he gets is "you need to put this guy out Manny, come on we need this!!"

Mayweather is obviously cherry picking his opponents, it's a shame because I think he has great skills but he needs to put to test against fighters like pacquiao, mosley, cotto in his prime and he should faught Margarito as well. Not saying he would not have beaten those fighters in their prime but imagine how good his record would have looked like right now. He left ppl a chance to talk but the casual fans wont never now all they see and will see in the future is good wins on paper.
