Kovalev might be back March 29th on HBO, who should he fight?

Yeah, he's unreliable. Would have been good to see Kovalev handle a durable guy that size though.

Tommy Gunn would be a step down in competition. The guy would go backwards and get horribly beat up against Kovalev. He has zero ring generalship.

Edwin got on my nerves in the build-up to the ward fight and the fight itself. Kovalev will krush him.

Anything besides Stevenson is a bust, IMO.



Alvarez is a Nice looking undefeated kid, but Kovalev wouldn't get any credit for that...... Haters can go ahead and add him to the "bum being fed to Kovalev to make him look good because HBO is looking for a foreign bum to promote" list. Not only that but there is absolutely no reason for his people to feed him to Kovalev right now. That doesn't even make sense. Props to him though if he wants it.



On a serious note, how about Pascal? Any fight besides Stevenson or Ward would be a stay-busy fight for Kovalev. They're the only 2 possible opponents who have a chance against him in the division, IMO and the two biggest fights in the division that have to happen and two of the biggest potential fights in the sport, period.

Yes, I would definitely favor Kovalev too. Rodriguez seems durable though. I want to see how Kovalev does late in a fight. He's been too good so far. We don't know much about his stamina as a fight progresses. He'll probably ended up bombing Edwin out early too.
