Don't understand why people thought that fight was boring. There were two highly-skilled fighters in a solid boxing match. Anybody who saw that fight and left unimpressed by Garcia knows less than shhit about boxing and shouldn't be posting at all.

This is a ridiculous post. I don't mind saying Mikey isn't elite. Because personally, I only consider maybe 5-6 guys out there now truly elite. The rest of the top 10 is basically a crap shoot. That said, I don't see how someone could say his performance last night wasn't impressive. He took on of the best fighters in a division he's relatively green in and outclassed him and had him in survival mode from the third round on. And exactly what was wrong with him playing it safe? Do you not remember him being buzzed in the second? He had a good fighter in front of him that he knew could hurt him. And one that was basically winging big shots to keep him away from him. I thought Mikey did a great job of maintaining distance against a taller fighter, timing his hard counters beautifully, and making a fight that could have been interesting a route.

If There's no knock out, Some of these guys are not happy. Garcia is an excellent fighter, that had a very good fighter in front of him. My only worry, is that Mikey is a lot like his Brother, in the way, that He is a great technician, but is not very durable. Robert was better than Corrales, and Casamayor technically, and was beating them both early. But was out toughed. I feel that Mickey will someday suffer the same fate. But not against Gamboa.

We they don't come much rougher than Salido. And Mikey went through him. And a big reason was that Salido couldn't deal with his power. Which is saying something. I think he's gonna be fine as long as he doesn't get money hungry and chase paydays in the higher divisions.
