And I'm not saying this will be a mismatch or anything either.

No I read it all. Peterson doesnt need power to damage broner. Lamont is a workhorse and his high work rate will be damaging enough for broner, IMO.

Paulie and Ponce didn't really damage Broner either. I agree with the post above. Broner doesn't transition from defense to offense. When his opponent throws he shells up. Peterson's work rate and pressure could cause serious problems. I can't imagine Broner walking Peterson down and backing him up which seems to be Broner's only way to be effective offensively.

I've always thought Peterson was the better fighter, still do...

With that said, I think Peterson wins a wide UD.

Broner gets destroyed and dances out of the ring like he won the fight.

You have a point too. It'll play out one way or another, that's for sure. :P

Well, I think Peterson could win.. I haven't seen his fight with Jean yet so don't call it on me, but looking at what Paulie did I think Peterson can win. Paulie threw in bunches and got in quite a good amount of body shots from what I can remember, its just he has zero power.

Broner went 12 with Maidana so he should go 12 with Peterson. With his height and reach advantage and his all arounds skills and determination I think Peterson will win on points. Broner has good power but nothing like Matthysse power and I think Peterson will stay on his feet and win the fight on points with better stamina and work rate in the last half of the fight.

Are you saying the fact that they are friends is reason for the fight not happening ? LOL thats weak man, what these american boys on???

I think Peterson beats Broner, he is a more active fighter, moves better and has a better defence. Broner even loses out on size. Peterson by UD.

Lamont is a very good fighter and has only lost to the 2 best fighters in his division at the time. Peterson beats just about anyone else in his division.

Peterson would beat the **** out of Broner. Completely dominate. Broner isn't outfighting Peterson inside, no way.
