Doesnt that **** happen to u folks?

I know when im lying in bed getting ready for sleep, and i think of sparring or just plain scraping... my arms move by themselves, i get twitchy legs , and throw some left hooks.

the **** trips me out how just by thinking about urself in a fighting situation, that ur body reacts by moving itself.

Maybe thats what was going on with that poor bastard. his body is still in fight mode but his mind doesnt realise that hes on the canvas.

From this camera angle, it looks like he was hit with the elbow, hard to tell.
Ref's do this sometimes just to keep in form, so there's no complaining. Sometimes a fighter will go down like a ton of bricks and you'd think they'd have to be stretcher'd, and then they pop right up. Ever see Ruddock hit the canvas after Morrison caught him? Looks like he's going to be out for an hour, then he gets up at 4.

And no, it was a clean punch. No elbow.

One of the more disturbing/sad/funny KO's I've ever seen.

(My first boxing gif - it turned out a little big file-wise, if anyone has any tips to make them smaller, pm me!)

I was watching this fight with my father. I was telling him how Smion Brown was once feared and avoided and how he's trying to make a come back. And then BAM! Petway hits him! I mean, Petway was fighting scared all night...until he landed that shot! Petway was lucky, IMO.

What you dopes fail to mention/notice....is how much it proves that fighting is so instilled in these guys, it's part of their instinct.

yeah.....that was a sad moment, Simon Brown was one of my all-time faves. He was an awesome fighter, & a true warrior.

yep, thats exactly what he's doing....even though he's knocked out, his brain keeps telling him to instinctively keep punching. His brain mustve been rattled pretty hard with that punch.

The punch and THEN the head slamming into the canvas made it even worse. Reminds me of Johnson's KO of Roy a little.
