Thanks Andre for reaffirming what most real fans already know.
Ward & Groves he wants no part of unless Groves nets him a huge amount
but Froch's ego is so delicate he may not want to get stretched for a check.

      That's not PPV.

More recent Brian Vera thinks Chavez jr may not even make weight
when they fight. Froch vs Chavez jr is a garbage fight, fans don't want
        to see that bull$h1t!

I don't know what the official numbers are but he fights on PPV and Ward doesn't. He and Kessler both made at least double what Ward made for his fight with Dawson. Ward wants a PPV fight so again, it's up to him.

Whether its morally right or wrong, Froch holds the cards.
If we're talking about Prescott wanting Khan again, i'd agree with you that Khan should call the shots since he is the significantly bigger draw, and holds the cards, and Prescott's career has taken a turn for the worse. Froch is unknown in boxing in general, but well known in the UK boxing circles and hardcore boxing fans in the US which is good but he is not a significantly bigger draw than Ward on a worldwide scale. At least not significant enough to call the shots vs a fighter of Ward's esteem/stature.

This is not Mayweather vs Baldomir, or Juanma Lopez vs Salido II, or fights of that caliber where the champ/titlist happens to be a good/solid journeyman who has no choice but to agree on all terms the bigger draw has in store. Ward is no journeyman, Ward is no B fighter, and he certainly can live with one less paycheck and a W over Froch, while Froch probably doesn't want that 0-2 vs Ward. He wants his chance of winning increased via bad judging/officiating in England.

He is a bigger draw though. It doesn't really matter how significant you believe it to be. Carl Froch is a PPV fighter and he earns double what Ward does. I would say that's quite significant.

The problem for Ward is that there aren't any other big money fights for him at 168. It's Froch or Chavez Jr and if Froch gets Chavez Jr, he can wave goodbye to one of them.
