Maybe he needs to become better at advertising himself, the man has all the advantages of an undefeated record and a boxing style that is successful , and exiting to me, an Olympian and from Oakland.
If he moves up I believe will have success but it will not fix his image(or lack of) problem.
I didn't blame Ward for not being a draw. I'm simply tired of hearing him trying to cherrypick fighters, 1/ he's already beaten, or 2/ who don't belong sharing the ring with him.

He needs to move up. There's nothing at 168 for him. He seems petrified by 175. To me anyway.

I don't think he is, he said he wanted to move up a year ago but he has Virgil Hunter in his ear telling him to stay at 168 and of course, there was the potential of big money fights with Froch, Chavez and Golovkin (which look less likely now).

Ward has made himself look really dumb in recent interviews.

This was the guy who was verbally blowing Chavez Jr on HBO to try and secure a fight with him.

Even as a Ward fan SMH. Ward retweeted a photoshopped picture of him and JCC at a weigh in. He wants this fight badly.

Ward, Froch said he'll fight you in Europe you declined to travel. It's not his fault you don't want to fight outside of Oakland. Now it seems your jealous he's getting the money fight and your not so phuck U

To me someone who's 6 foot 2 and sucks down to fight at 168 has no balls. Has to fight smaller guys to make himself look good this is how I see someone is not as good as the fans claim he is. Take a look at Floyd and Manny who are small dudes who beat up bigger guys

Ward is a hypocrite and he tries to act like Floyd, he even does that ****** finger sign to signal number one when he takes a picture and tries to act like him during the prefight announcements in the ring.

Ward calls Chavez weak, yet he is the same guy who was Chasing him for a while now. So Ward was also chasing a weak fighter and cherry picking as well. Now he tries to call out Froch for it?

This is why Ward has gotten annoying, I am glad Floyd ripped him though. Ward also tried to diss Pacman's wins, saying Pac didn't fight guys at their natural weight and drained them a division down or calls them up, wtf? Wards biggest win was him fighting Dawson at 168 draining him from 175. And he has been trying to call out smaller men at 160 to fight him at 168 in GGG and Sergio Martinez.how is he going to criticize Pac? Pac is a legend, he will be remembered in history way more than Ward, Ward is a gold medalist but all he is is a decent champion who fought the majority of his fights at home and ducked bum ass Lucian Bute when he was hot because he thought Bute was a threat at the time, Froch fights Bute and knocks him out, Ward in America he has no fanbase except for the few hometown fans in Oakland. Why doesn't Ward challenge himself like Floyd, Juan Manuel and Pac move up a division and fight at 175?

Dude keeps trying to be like Floyd even after Floyd ripped him up in an interview, dude is weak.
