The bottom line is that fighters will get paid based on how much they had put into the sport of boxing throughout their whole lives. Manny has been fighting big names for the past 10 years and putting on shows and inspiring people with his character. The bigger the draw, The more money you get paid.

That's another good point, some of these fighters getting big paydays have been fighting for a loooooong time. They have a solid legacy. Pacquaio has much more of a legacy than Bradley.

Yeah, it doesn't seem right, but that's how business interferes with the quality of entertainment, sports, art, etc. Same reason why we see the same damn actors over and over again, even though there's much more talented actors on the sidelines. There's always politics like that involved. Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis could come back separately today and get a bigger payday than a lot of guys right now.

I just read an article in ESPN. Bradley had to agree to an extension for this fight. Now I really feel bad for him. So even if he wins, he won't see the BIG dollars (Floyd). Quote:

$20mil for a guy that is 1-2 is a freaking joke. Bradley should be getting $20mil and Pacroid should be getting no more then $800k. The guy hasn't done anything deserving of $20mil other then duck Floyd & juice up for his fights. But I'm betting that $20mil is just for show and he'll be lucky to see $1million after ole Rob Arum finish with his deductions. I know one thing for sure and that's Pacroid better pay this great country our taxes. Tired of his butt coming here making money then running off tk the Philippines without paying the taxes we Americans have to pay.

I know he didn't "really" beat Pac. But he did get the decision and then he really beat Marquez and was in the fight of the year with Provodnikov. He deserved at least $10 million. People watch Pac when he is fighting Marquez. Not so much with other fighters like Rios. Pac is still the man, but Bradley deserves WAY MORE!

If Bradley signed an extension,Bradley is getting paid bro..Believe me,Bradley has made since being with TR over 11 mill..With this fight he'd be right under the 20 mill mark..Not to mention his minimum per fight has to have went up for him to sign with TR again..Bradley knows this is chess not checkers..He's moving right and getting paid bro..

My point is that people were also paying to see Cotto and Oscar and Margarito, not just Pacquiao. Floyd can't say people weren't paying to see Oscar, Cotto, and Canelo! Neither can Pacquiao!
