Did anyone catch the Garcia-Burgos Post fight interview?

No surprise Yuri was gonna make some noise. We all know Garcia is terrified of Gamboa.

Mikey has been targeting and asking to fight Yuri for years. We'll see if he follows through on it (I hope so, I love this fight). If he doesn't, it would be a case of him becoming a diva now he's got the hype and (perceived) greater upside.

But just pointing out - he used to specifically Gamboa as someone he was ready for years ago. So I really doubt he's scared of him.

I respect that Gamboa is kind of out in the cold atm and needed to put his name out there for this fight, but i hate when fighters do this.

Mikey has put his body and mind through hell the last few months taining for victory, and he cant even get to celebrate it in the ring?

Gamboa wasnt disrespectful even told Robert a subtle fk off it looked set up and Gamboa didn't even call Mikey a coward or non. It was obviously planned with azteca since hbo didnt want him up there probably thought he would start some ugly **** which wasn't obviously the case. Mikey looked shook doe.

Yeah i've seen it. It could well be set up by the TV guys o promoters or whatever

But I still stand by what I said as long as Mikey wasnt in on it, which im not sure he was. I just think that was his moment, he could only get 3-4 of those a year

I'm a fan of both fighters and really wanna see this fight. Both fighters are skillful in their own way but Gamboa is faster and Mikey punch harder.

I'm on the fence on who's gonna win but I think Gamboa's long layoff is not going to do him good.

Scum Arum and HBO better make this fight. Would really be nice if its in the undercard of Pacquiao/Bradley.

I think you're exaggerating here. Like someone said, this looked like it happened after HBO had interviewed him already. The way the interviewer turned towards Gamboa looked to me like everyone was in it. I mean, why didn't Gamboa show up there during the HBO interview? It wouldve gotten more exposure. Rios after Alvarado beat him was even worse. All I'm saying is, I didn't see anything wrong.
