Yeah, he is gonna fake an injury and GBP will somehow allow him to weasel out of the fight and drop to 140. The guy is a fraud like I always knew he was...complete joke. Everything about him is fake.

I think he wants the rematch his ego is to big; but if Floyd wants Maidana he has the priority on who gets the fight. Maidana has he would be ready for May 3rd but the 26th or the 19th of April is to soon is basically him saying I'm waiting to get the call.

I thought it was funny as crap, they were showing the All Access episode of that after the preliminary undercards for tonight's event. I guess they did it because they knew Broner would be interviewed during the broadcast. He was talking all that trash about how Maidana would be saying "damn he is good" and how Maidana would be speaking English and what not after the fight. Dude is such a joke, he will duck out of the Maidana fight and drop to 140...guarantee it.

That was my first thought as well! This fight has always been a play to take Maidana off the map for Floyd, so not long after Floyd announces his opponent, Broner is going to get injured in camp and the fight will be canceled and Broner will drop to 140.

Showtime is hoping no one, I think that is the point. They invested heavily in Broner and he went and schit the bed in his first big step up which was really supposed to be a "tailor-made" match for him. Everyone knows that Broner can't handle pressure-power punchers.

He may want it but his promoters know that Broner is a numbskull and will just get annihilated in a rematch. They will talk about it but trust me, that fight will not be his next fight....what sense would that make to throw their investment to the wolf like that? Floyd wants Khan and no one else right now, he thinks that fight will sell but Khan is washed up, a joke. He won't fight Maidana because he wants an easy match and he is trying to convince Showtime that the UK market will generate big revenue.......that's his "leverage" for securing Khan....the fight will tank though; no one is paying for that crap fight.

Think about it.....why did Floyd just fly to Africa all of a sudden? He thinks he can get the African crowd to aid the UK support for the Khan fight. Too bad he basically dissed them to go on a safari instead spending quality time with his fans over there.
