    Jermell's ring IQ

I'm glad he gives it up for Laura saying he learns a lot from Lara. That can only be taken as Lara is a great tactician and in turn he is forced to learn how to fight smart. Intelligence is what separates the good from the greats. I'm not proclaiming Jermell as the next best thing but with his evolving ring intelligence. He stands a chance to go on and do great things. Much respect to Jermell!

Definitely looks better than these so called great boxers in Trout and Andrade. I can almost see him having a career like Lara - go on winning streaks against most types, but on occasion runs into the wrong fighter and looks pedestrian.

He was the most impressive fighter tonight, and gave Lara the sensei myaigy Lara san nod.

He looked good. Made me a fan and a believer tonight. His ring IQ is high, he has solid all around tools.

I'd like to see him fight Trout next, or maybe Molina if Molina beats his brother in March.

I was highly impressed with his brother's performance last month as well albeit the competition wasn't very good. Looking forward to his fight with Molina and see if he's up the test.

He looked good and Rosado is one tough SOB but lets not get too happy here fellas. Rosado is still just a world class trial horse. Test passed easily but...

It was clear to me from the first round that he studies Lara. Shields probably recycled the game-plan from Lara/Angulo.

He made that look easy, took a couple of good shots but, was in control the whole time. I guess kid chocolate could always fight Rosado now?
