I don't think anybody underrated Burgos but the fact Mikey overrated himself as capable of beating any top fighter out there. After tonight, that is presumptuously laughable.

I'm really disappointed in J.C. Burgos. The first two rounds were good, but when Burgos felt Mikey's power it turned into a boring a$$ fight. I don't understand how Burgos was content with just surviving when he knew that he could hurt Mikey.

I'll say it again, this is the worst fight between two Mexicans that I've ever seen. When I seen Burgos and Garcia hurt each other in the early rounds I was expecting a war to break out.

I still think Burgos beats a lot of the top 130 pounders. Let's not forget he beat the s**t out of Martinez.

The talk of rushing Mikey all the way up to WW to fight Pac this year is a bit of a joke, sure, that said: Mikey is an exceptional talent, a top P4P fighter and easily the best fighter in his weight class.
People making way too big of a deal about him not stopping ONE fighter, nobody knocks them all out. Garcia dominated and demonstrated clearly superior ability.

Mikey might need to stay away from power punchers if he keeps moving up, his chin is a little suspect but he does what he has to do and plays to his strengths. I'm also not sure he'll have power if he ever hits 140. He should stay at 130 for a bit.
