  • Comments Thread For: Jennings Soars In HBO Debut, Stops Szpilka In Ten

Bryant Jennings enjoyed a successful HBO debut with a rousing 10th round knockout win over Artur Szpilka in their heavyweight battle Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York City.

The bout served as the chief support to Mikey Garcia's 130 lb. title defense versus Juan Carlos Burgos, with both fights airing live on HBO's Boxing After Dark series. [Click Here To Read More]

Szpilka is pretty basic, but it's a step up.

Very impressive performance by Bryant Jennings, I could see he's improved since last year.

What won the fight for him was his ring intelligence and excellent timing. He was able to anticipate what Szpilka was going to do.

Jennings is definitely one of the top ten heavyweights in the world right now.

Szpilka is a decent fighter, at age 24 he still may have a good future despite the loss.

Put together Szpilka v Price! Wilder v Jennings would be nice...

I don't think Szpilka watched Jennings last fight. Where Jennings was horrible on the ropes and wide opened to the body.
