I think Gatti should take a shot at Baldomir, and retire regardless of the outcome. Just my opinion.Comment

too bad hes had this surgery several times, never making his hand better in the long run. but im very excited to see him back in the ring
i disagree pb34, thats just gatti. i know where ur coming from but he needs his power, and he has felt the pain before and can take it. he knows that everytime he goes into the ring he risks being knocked out, or braking his hand, but thats y even after he gets pummeled (i.e mayweather-gatti or de la hoya-gatti) he still comes back.Last edited by JMCbulls; 02-09-2006, 05:49 PM.Comment

I wonder if the problems started early in his career from having a trainer that didn't know how to wrap properly?Originally posted by PBF34gatti needs to wear new gloves. he has hand problems after each fightComment

I'd like to see Gatti fight Baldomir, because I feel it's his best bet at winning a title now, and yes he probably should retire if he wins, because I can't see him defeating any of the top dogs at Welterweight. We already know what Mayweather did to him, Margarito would walk right through him, but I'm sure his management would avoid these kind of guys. We'll see how it goes for him.Comment
