Also, Rios doesn't get on a bicycle and run like a sissy, something Alvarado does frequently. Nobody wants to see a running sissy in a PPV event.
What he said is true, but it's also the reason the picked Rios. Alvarado isn't as slow or genertic as Rios. Pac would've won either fight, but Rios was the easier of the two. It was a make Pac look like a monster by giving him a stiff fight, everyone knew it, and that alvarados hand injury was BS. Come on now...in the end both fights ******, and neither would've done well....so who cares?

If Rios, who supposedly loves to get hit and is a balls to the wall fighter, turned into a shell... imagine what Alvarado would have done. He would have probably quit AGAIN.

I would still pick Rios over Alvarado as a Pac opponent even after seeing the pathetic performance Rios put on.

Rather to see him face Alvarado because he's too stiff, and leaky defensively to be taken seriously against top competition. He'd lose and lose pretty badly to Manny.

not the second part, but in the 1st part you gave him these dreaded red Ks (whatever value they have) and resorted to profanity. I agree the posters statement was short sighted, but why so harsh, or is there no room for anyone to disagree with you?

He didn't duck Alvarado. How do you duck a guy that are 10 times better than??? Alvarado had problems with his hand and might not have been ready on time. Alvarado is about as good as Rios and you saw what Pacquiao did to Rios. Alvarado does not have near as good a chin as Rios and Pacquiao's sparring partner KOed him. Pacquiao would easily KO Alvarado and he damn sure never ducked him.

Rios and Margs' defense is walk through punches. It takes less time than
bobbing, weaving, ducking. Money Mayweather would have to have
every potshot of his KD Rios, Otherwise, he'll get caught eventually on
the ropes. It's like the terminator shooting with a ******* blast the
terminator 2 that gets distracted for a second but keep coming.

Pacquiao is a great fighter, but he's no master boxer. Rios is so slow he made Pac look like Sugar Ray Leonard out there. Floyd would embarrass Rios and I don't even think its a credible fight. (Yes, neither is Khan and I'm disgusted with the whole ordeal).

Man get real. Do you see Floyd throwing the number of punches
Pac threw against Rios? Do you see Floyd KOing Rios with his potshots?
How much more would Floyd have done than what Pac did in that fight?
Embarrass in what way? Run, potshot, run, potshot, run, rinse and repeat.
He would have ducked Rios, believe me. I'm not even joking.

                    Rios or Alvarado were interchangeable
didn't matter which one he took, he was returning from a bad KO
there was no call for Pac to fave Alvarado, or anybody else frankly
Rios was a throwaway fight, not even worth complaining about

Alv can fight out of a shell though, a lot more so than Rios. Like I said both shouldn't be mentioned at a world level, let alone world level at a class they don't fight in. Pac'd have dominated either, but Rios was there to be hit like you said....he loves to get hit. The only bigger mismatch than that fight is if May-Khan gets made.....or anyone Wilder has been fighting before Scott.
