    i agree with that.

does he have enough of a surplus in skill to negate the phyiscal advantage that wilder has in power and speed? that's the important question to be asked for the duration of wilder's career.

it's pretty clear that you need to get away from wilder's right hand for as long as the fight lasts. considering his speed and freakish reach, that's the rub. that's why people get excited to watch HW fight.

Indeed that right hand from Wilder's is something to be feared of. But Scott should have enough to avoid it. Wilder at times looks stiff and amateurish.

i'd even go so far as to say that he almost always looks like a stiff amateur
hell, he even looks like an amateur when he's knocking these guys senseless.

that's why i want to see him moved slowly. he's not in any rush. this is a good fight, IMO. maybe about a year late, but you can't go back in time and make sure he's been made ready for these fights. we ahve to work in a 2014 reality.

i love HW boxing, dog. love it. i just wish these fighters were better schooled, and that they were all in shape.

i can't even imagine a 2014 HW prospect with a klitschko level pedigree and toolbox coming out of the amateurs.

they're all in college, and playing basketball and football

There are simply in the immediate future a HW with a true amateur pedigree. Most got in late and got in because they are big, strong and athletic. You see that they don't have that back ground as they progress to better fights.

Not if you saw him fight yesterday, he was fat, out of shape and it looks like he has quit boxing

wilder has the power of a super heavyweight, the reflexes of a middleweight, the speed of a lightweight, and the chin of a flyweight. he is a complete figter.
