Yeah, how convenient to face Malik Scott now that he is coming of his first loss by a TKO.
Just because Malik has a loss that doesn't mean he is on bum status now. Also Deontay is not ready for the upper echelon of the division. His last fight showed me that. He needs more time to marinate. No need to rush, eventually we will find out if he is the future or not.

I think this is a bad fight for Wilder. Malik Scott is a slick southpaw, possibly the most difficult type of opponent to figure out. If Deontay doesn't manage to get him out of there with one punch he could easily lose a decision.

Sometimes I scratch my head at GBP's matchmaking. This is a risky matchup with a title shot being so close. It's like when they did Austin Trout vs Miguel Cotto and it backfired, ruining the megafight of Miguel against Canelo.

Credit to them for matching their guys tough but sometimes it's smarter to play it safe.

Not bad, but could be better. Definitely a step up, but a rather safe choice. For me, the biggest question mark about Wilder is his chin, and Malik won't really test it.

As much as I like this match-up, I fear Scott will take a dive.

Scott should go to Team Fury to help

That would be a great fight

I like wilder but I would pick chisora all day

He's a relentless mother foker and we don't know if wilder can go the distance yet

Wilder ruins Scott , in the chisora fight when he started getting tagged you could tell he didn't want to be there

You don't stay on the floor for 9.5 seconds . Idiot

                  Yeah, that was phony controversy.

That would be terrific. People hate on Scott but he was just paying the bills most of his career. Taking on Glazkov and Chisora sadly puts him pretty high on the list of risk takers for this era. Think about that. Two fights and he's stepped ahead of most of the other guys. If he fights Wilder I don't see how you can hate on either one of them anymore really.

Unfortunately, Malik Scott hasn't got a good chin and he's not very slick. His footwork is average.
