    don't expect it

Wilder's team wouldn't dare go out on a limb even against a feather-fisted Scott...there will be an excuse (maybe another domestic violence roadblock)...If they did step it up against Scott it will be Wilder's first loss.

If this happens,Wilder finally takes a step in the right direction, these kinds of fights he needs to take.Scott has a difficult style and can go rounds.
      Looking forward this one

People say he is feather fisted, but if you cant take a punch and he connects on your chin, you will be going to sleep...

I like that they made the fight, but honestly wilder may not be ready for this caliber of fight.
Consider that wilder has never been past 4 rounds and only 30 amateur fights.. Deontay needs experience more than anything, he should be handled the same way Chavez jr was early in his career. They need to keep wilder active, out of the title hype and slowly build him up... He is already an attraction, so building his name should not be hard..
He needs to fight the likes of toney, Rahman, Mitchell, price, etc he needs those type fights and get rounds before battling 2nd tier heavys like Scott

I'm not sure any heavyweight is really featherfisted. When you weigh that much and know how to throw punches correctly, it's going to do some damage.

Malik Scott fought yesterday on the untelevised portion of Friday night fights in a 6 round fight.

This is a big step up for Wilder. Scott is a good boxer with a solid jab. His problem has always been a lack passion not a lack of skill. Scott's movement and jab alone will trouble Wilder.

Wilder shouldn't have to fear Scott's power though. He will be made to look silly at times but he should be able to set up some power punches without fear of being KO'd. These are big men though so he still needs to be careful.

                  Chris Byrd comes to mind

Not a bad fight IMO but I rather see Wilder fight Chisora.
